MATT WIGLER
Matt Wigler is jazz artist and entrepreneur based in Miami, FL.
He has performed at national venues including The Kennedy Center, Strathmore Music Center, Adrienne Arsht Center and Detroit Music Hall, Blues Alley, and Birdland Jazz Club.
Originally from Baltimore, Matt is a protegee of world-renowned jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut. Matt studied at Manhattan School of Music in New York City and has a music degree from the Frost School of Music at University of Miami. Matt is an alumnus of the Artist-in-Residence program at Strathmore Music Center, home to the National Symphony Orchestra. His second album, “Epiphony”, was nominated for best jazz CD by the Washington DC Area Music Association.
In 2016 he founded MHW Live Music, a leading live entertainment provider hotels, meetings, and events nationwide.
Matt has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
Matt is a board member of Miami Jazz Cooperative, a non-profit organization that promotes world-class jazz in Miami-Dade County.
Matt is also the founder of the Hospitality Cup Tennis Tournament, an annual charitable event presented by Greater Miami & the Beaches Hotel Association.
